Mike Conlon, MBA

Mike currently works as a vice president of corporate development at Synlogic and has responsibility for new product planning, corporate strategy and business development. Mike has 25 years of experience both in a consulting capacity and within companies in a variety of functional and leadership roles. Prior to joining Synlogic, he was the founder and president of StillPine Consulting which focused on partnering with small companies to help in the new product development of clinical stage assets. Prior experiences included as Head of New Product Planning at Kaleido Bioscience, Senior Director of Global New Products at Shire and a variety of senior level roles within Biogen including New Product Commercialization, Corporate Strategy and M&A, and Operations Research. Mike also spent several years as a strategy consultant at Trinity Partners after business school. Mike started out his career at Pfizer where he worked in the discovery drug metabolism group and was part of the original discovery team that developed Chantix. Mike holds a BA in biochemistry from Skidmore College and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
